Power Balls are exactly what they sound like—little snack-worthy balls packed with power ingredients! I love these little Peanut Butter Power Balls as a snack, or even instead of a cookie when the urge hits. If you don’t like almonds or walnuts, you can substitute any kind of nut you’d like or use any kind of nut butter instead of peanut butter.
It’s important to know that the only ingredients you want to see on the list when purchasing a nut butter is nuts and maybe a little salt. Don’t buy ones with added sugar, sweetener or oils. These are unnecessary additions–go for just plain and simple and natural!
You can purchase all-natural nut butters at any grocery store including Trader Joe’s and Costco. Just be sure to check the ingredients before you make your selection. As you can see, the only ingredient in the almond butter is raw almonds, and the only ingredients in the peanut butter are dry roasted organic peanuts and sea salt. Perfect!
